Bridges offers a variety of volunteering opportunities to people from all walks of life who would like to support our work and make a difference to people’s lives by getting them back onto the road to success.
We have positions for mentors, classroom assistants and study buddies and we also offer a number of internships every year to post-graduate students or recent graduates in a discipline relevant to our work. The internships can be practical, research based or a combination of both.
All volunteers and interns get their expenses paid and they are very much regarded as part of the team.
Mentors meet up regularly with one another to share their experiences and we arrange two outings a year with mentors, mentees and the mentees families, usually one in Glasgow and then one further afield.
Full training is offered to mentors and other volunteers. For more information check the links on this page and get in touch.
