Bridges has been working in Europe, on transnational partnerships and co-operations, since 2005 and with over 21 partners in 14 countries.

Each programme has been involved with different aspects of social and economic integration of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants. We have developed new qualifications for Scotland for people who support this group, exchanged our teaching material and methodologies and are currently looking at effective ways to help clients to have their past experiences and skills validated and recognised in Europe.
We have also previously considered ways to foster anti-discrimination in the workplace.
Our Best Practice guide available on the Publications Page, More Chances More Choices, has been widely distributed across Europe. We are a member of a number of European wide organisations and networks active in our sector and our Director, Maggie Lennon, is regularly asked to speak at conferences throughout Europe.
We regularly host visiting organisations from Europe and further afield who are also working in this sector.
Each year we offer an international internship to a postgraduate student from Aalborg University in Denmark.
